AAC provides excellent thermal insulation, provides low
maintenance costs and reduces energy consumption dramatically.
AAC serves as structure, insulation, and fire protection, thereby
eliminating the need for many different layers of materials and their
accompanied energy consumption and wastes. The workability of AAC helps to
eliminate waste on the jobsite.
Safety is a main benefit of
AAC which creates a sound, functional and safe building. The use
of AAC blocks will reduce indoor air pollutants by replacing lesser quality
building materials. The lack of wall cavities will reduce the need for chemical
pesticides indoors, eliminating the need for expensive insect and home pest
control treatments and long term maintenance costs. AAC is completely
inert and does not emit toxic gases, even when exposed to fire.

AAC is manufactured
with abundant and/or recycled raw materials and produces no waste products or
pollution. Its manufacture requires little energy as compared to other
materials.

Since AAC
consists of approximately 80% air, the finished product is up to 5 times the
volume of the raw materials used, making AAC even more resource efficient.

The use of AAC
construction supply reduces the number of trees being cut to build with. Unlike
wood, AAC is not vulnerable to water damage and provides less maintenance costs.
Since AAC does not rot or deteriorate and is impervious to fire damage, it
potentially even saves the costs of demolition and reconstruction. With a
colored stucco finish your house will not even need repainting every few years,
saving much chemical and air pollution to our environment.
