The figures below are provided for your convenience.  Of course, cost considerations are never as simple as comparing product A to product B.  Installed cost and operating cost must be considered as well as unit price.  These costs are all affected by project size, location, labor market, current freight rates, building codes, and the particular application.

Unit Cost:

Unit prices for SafeCrete autoclaved aerated concrete construction products can be found on our Products page.  Most products are purchased in full pallet increments.

Installed Cost:

When comparing installed cost of AAC to other building construction methods, please take into account that AAC typically replaces:

  • Wood or metal studs
  • Insulation
  • OSB
  • Exterior Sheathing
  • Interior Sheathing (when choosing plaster over sheetrock)
  • Fancy window trim, ledges, quoins, and other exterior decoration
  • Fire-rated walls

  • Foundation
  • A/C units
